The Education Bureau supports and encourages schools to adopt healthy school policy. To echo the endeavour, the Department of Health has organized an annual Principal Summit since 2007 which aims to provide a platform for schools to share and exchange their experiences on the promotion of healthy eating in schools in short and medium term.

This year's Principal Summit presented Awards to schools which have achieved accreditation in the 2012-2013 school year. For this year's Principal Summit, Professor Annisa Lee (Associate Professor of the CUHK's School of Journalism and Communication) has been invited to deliver a keynote speech on the pervasive impact of food marketing on children.

Similar to previous years, an interactive discussion session with representatives from the school, home, academia, and relevant sectors will follow.
